    Texas A&M Forest Service and Texas Forestry Association are hosting a workshop for landowners, foresters and others in the Texas forest sector.

    Friday, August 7th
    1. Angelina College Community Services Center, in Lufkin*
    2. OR by live video feed at Texas A&M AgrilLife Research & Extension Center in Overton, TX

    A variety of topics will be presented, including:
    • How to identify the current health of your woodlands
    • Easy-to-follow recipes for increasing woodland health
    • Record-keeping to track Texas laws; family heritage
    • Panel discussion on available assistance programs

    Specific forest health issues and treatments will be discussed throughout the day as will prevention methods to minimize risk.

    There is no cost for the workshop and lunch is provided.

    CEU's will be given for the SAF Certified Forester program and the Texas Pro Logger program.
