Yesterday, Texas A&M Forest Service responded to 1 new request for assistance on wildfires burning 0.6 acre across the state.
A cold front is
forecast to move south through Texas beginning Thursday through Saturday. A
cool and moist fire environment is likely to develop across most of Texas on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, resulting in low fire potential statewide as fuel moisture
increases.

There are currently 79 counties with burn bans in place.
Texas A&M Forest Service is not currently responding to any active wildfires burning across the state.
